I got this hitch as I needed an adjustable hitch for my Duramax truck.
Some notes about this hitch that you may not know:
- The shank is solid metal - not hollow.
- The 2" ball can handle up to 10k lbs
- The 2 5/16" ball can handle 14k lbs
- Tongue weight 1500 lbs
Pretty nice and manly looking mount!
If you care about where it is made, it's made in India. I wouldn't say India is better than China in manufacturing, but this is a well made hitch with good welds.
It's a very heavy hitch ball mount. It doesn't look as nice as those hidden hitch brand, but it outperforms them and that's what counts.
I purchased this hitch after breaking my last box store type hitch. Almost lost my 7,000 lb boat on the highway. This hitch is solid steel. Not hollow like most others. Also, it's rated at 14,000 lbs. 4,000 lbs over others I've found as well. Buy it and you will not be dissappointed.
